The federal high court has given an order that no Nigerian security service should arrest or extradite Kashamu to the United State for trial of drug related offences.
Justice Okon Abang announced this ruling this morning by given orders that all aforementioned agencies must comply with the letter of extradition Act if senator Kashamu Buruji must be arrested.
He however said that the court will not stop the NDLEA or the police from arresting or extraditing him but that must be done with the extradition act.
Also,Kashamu had filed a fundamental right suit against the Inspector General of Police, NDLEA, SSS, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, the Nigeria Customs, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the Chairman of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade.
The judge concluded that the senator should be sworn in as senator of federal republic of Nigeria.
